There are appointments made out of necessity, and there are appointments made out of certainty. Will Gosse becoming Chief Executive Officer of BresicWhitney is the latter.

Will has spent twelve years inside the business - as Director, as Chief Operating Officer, as Shareholder, and more recently as Acting CEO. He hasn't arrived from elsewhere with a mandate to reshape things. He already knows what's worth keeping.

Founder and Director Shannan Whitney puts it simply: "Will is a grounded leader who understands the spirit of BresicWhitney. He's helped shape the opportunities that have defined our business for the better, and those that will drive us forward. He's been our biggest advocate, and we intend to remain his."

For Will, the role is both a privilege and a continuation. His focus, he says, is where it has always been. "On our people, the standard of work we deliver, and a culture that nurtures not only high performance, but curiosity and creativity in us all. That's the foundation we'll continue to build on as we move forward with considered ambition."

He is measured in the way that comes from having watched a business grow from the inside - and from understanding that culture isn't built through declaration. "Our people, clients and customers deserve excellence, integrity and humility, without compromise. Carrying the BresicWhitney standard takes intention and conviction. That's not new, and neither is our commitment to it."

BresicWhitney transacts on over $3 billion of Sydney property annually - across the harbourside and lifestyle suburbs that define the city. Its off-market portal accounts for more than 20% of annual transactions. Its offices are architect-designed, each one a reflection of the community it serves. And its 200 people were recently recognised by the Australian Financial Review in the 2026 Best Places to Work Awards - a signal, perhaps, that the culture Gosse is now steward of was already something worth protecting.

“Carrying the BresicWhitney standard takes intention and conviction. That’s not new, and neither is our commitment to it.”
